"BIOLOGICAL" DRUGS PERHAPS UNDER DEVELOPMENT
THAT MIGHT BE EFFECTIVE FOR  AUTOIMMUNE VASCULITIDES

(Last Update 24 June 2010)

This table was compiled over several years, beginning in about 1995 by a vasculitis patient with NO medical training.  Very likely many of the listed developments have been dropped as most drugs in development don't get approved.

The meds listed here are ones that have only a rather limited chance of being useful to treat autoimmune vasculitides, but in most cases, that's not the intended use.  Perhaps the one's with the most promising aspect are the several CTLA-4 possibilities and the BLYS developments.  Any medications that selectively inhibit activation of the B cells may be useful as experience with Rituxan has shown.

Anyone interested in pursuing an interest should contact the supposed developer.
